RSOT · Scheduled Overtime

Your contract's yearly list — usually 8 tours (4 day + 4 night). Add each one; they'll show on the calendar in blue.

Status & Time Off

Punch in vacation, medical leave, or light duty. Vacation & medical leave = you’re off. Light duty lets you set the schedule you actually work — your group chart, an ABCD letter, or a custom weekly schedule. Vacation needs an end date. Medical & light duty can stay open; set an end date to go back to your regular tours.

CFR Refresher

CFR (certified first responder) has to be renewed — usually about 4 years from your last refresher class. Enter your expiration date and you’ll get a reminder as it gets close.

CFR expiration date

Enter the date your CFR expires (on your card / from BHS). It’s usually about 4 years from your last refresher’s test-out day.

Schedule your CFR refresher

Pick the 5 class days — the 5th is the test-out day (your new expiration). You stay full duty; each class shows on the tour & time you pick. Edit anytime.

Education & Medicals

Mark a one-day event — it shows on the 9× day tour of that date. Pick the type and the date.

Tours in Your Phone’s Calendar

Subscribe once and your tours show up in Google or Apple Calendar — on your phone’s calendar app, your watch, in the car, and when you ask your assistant what you’re doing Saturday. It updates itself as you log swaps and overtime.

⚠️ Read this first. Everything else in this app is encrypted so that even I can’t read it. This feed can’t be — Google has to be able to read it to show it to you. Anyone who gets the link can see your tour schedule, so treat it like a password. It carries tours only — never your personal events, notes, overtime dollars, or anyone else’s information.

Comp Time

Veterans bank comp time on Memorial Day and Veterans Day — the hours of your tour that actually fall on the holiday itself. Spend it by setting a tour to Veteran comp in that day’s sheet — that selector only appears once this box is ticked. Ordinary Comp time is a separate pot and never touches these hours.

Personal Event

Yours only — personal events never reach your firehouse, and they ride the same encrypted backup as the rest of your calendar.

Company Events

Name it, add one or more dates — pick each day, or auto-fill a weekly/monthly run, then remove or add any day. Every date gets highlighted in your color.

Overtime Statistics

Everything you're owed, added up. Tap a yearmonthpay period to drill in, then tap any day to jump to it on the calendar.

Backup & Restore

Your calendar lives on this device. Back it up so a new phone, a cleared browser, or a lost device won't wipe it.

1 · Save a backup

Copying the code is the surest way — paste it into Notes, email it to yourself, or drop it in a password manager.

2 · Restore onto a device

Open this calendar on the other device, then paste your code or pick your file. This replaces whatever is on that device.

3 · Cloud backup OFF

Auto-saves an encrypted copy to the cloud after every change — only your recovery code can unlock it. On a new or wiped phone, enter the code to get everything back.

Mutuals Ledger

Every partner mutual you record, tallied by name. Mutual in = you covered their tour, they owe you one back. Mutual out = they covered you, you owe them. Add a name to each mutual in the day view and it lands here.

Radio 10-Codes

Tap a code for the full meaning and sub-codes. Unofficial quick reference — verify against your current Communications Manual.

Box Numbers

Tap a box to open its cross-streets in Maps. Unofficial reference — box → location from NYC OpenData (FDNY dispatch data); verify against your current run cards.

Group Changes

Reassigned to new groups (and maybe a new partner)? Add the date it takes effect. Your old tours and everything you logged stay exactly as they were — only dates on/after the change use the new groups.

Your group history

Set the steppers above, then on the first row to correct the group you started on. That one reaches backwards — for a reassignment, add a change with a date instead.

ABCD Chart

On the ABCD chart you're assigned a letter and work that letter's days — both the 9× and the 6×. Turn it on for the dates it's in effect and pick your letter. Leave the end date open and set it later when you switch back. Your square-root tours before & after are untouched — and you can still pick up overtime and mutuals on the other letters' days, and add your marks & notes to each tour.
